Our growers have a collective 400 years of experience. Our glasshouses and fields are full of every kind of herb you care to name.
We are the market leader in the UK, supplying over 20 million pots of living herbs and 90 million packs of fresh cut herbs to our retail customers for their own label products, as well as to our own premium herb brand, SEASON. At any one time, we have 3 million pots of living herbs growing on site under the care of our growers who collectively have over 400 years of experience between them.
Our herb-y range
We supply half of the fresh herbs in the UK retail market, growing more than 40% in our own glasshouses and farms in the UK, Spain and Portugal. We lead the way in bringing new and interesting herbs to the market.

Moving with the seasons
We grow our cut herbs in our glasshouses and on our own farms in the UK, Spain and Portugal to meet customer demand consistently all year round. We enhance nature as we grow to minimize our impact on the environment and produce fresh, quality herbs grown according to stringent food-grade standards.

Innovation is at the heart of everything we do. We grow our knowledge, working closely with agronomists and research teams trialing new varieties in-house, continually investing in New Product Development. We are proud of how we grow our herbs; committed to using the best technology within our glasshouses and packhouses.
Caring for the environment around us
We aspire to be an ethical, environmentally responsible, and sustainable business. Our initiatives are many. We’re targeting net zero by 2040, constantly looking for ways to reduce our carbon footprint. We try not to use unnecessary plastic – all our pots are recycled and recyclable. The water we use for irrigation is recirculated to make use of every drop. Peat-free soil solutions, more biodiversity, cutting energy consumption, reducing food waste are just some of our environmental priorities.

We are a great partner for the future, set up with our state-of-the-art nursery to deliver on a large scale. We employ over 350 people in our 13.5 hectare glasshouse site in West Sussex – tending to over 3 million pots of fresh herbs at any one time.

Nurtured in our Sussex glasshouse, we draw upon over 30 years of industry-leading research and growing expertise to bring consumers and independent garden retailers over 48 different varieties of living herbs. We’re on a mission! To inspire people to eat healthier and greener using fresh and different flavours from parsley and rosemary to lavender and lilac to elevate any meal.
